General Description
Aub Hosking, Vern Hoppe, Billy Grundy, Harold Eastwood, Ted Cosson and Harry Pickett.
Hosking was wounded in action at Ulu Pandan on 12/2/1942 and admitted to 2/13th Australian General Hospital. Following an operation he lost 5″ of tibia and it was 12 months before he could walk. Japanese gave him a ‘B’ Class Medical Certificate, the second highest classification for the medically unfit.
Aub Hosking was recovered from Changi 4 September 1945.
Aubrey passed away aged 86, August 1 2005, at Bermagui, NSW.
