General Description

Watters served with the Territorial Army in the United Kingdom.
Tom was unable to reboard ‘Aquitania’ before she sailed from Fremantle to Singapore on 16 January 1942. He sailed several weeks later to Java and joined ‘Blackforce’.  Please read further.

Tom married about 1941 to Veronica Catherine Smith.  Veronica Watters died 1975 t Mt. Helena.
In 1949 Electoral Roll. Tom and Veronica are residing Melville Park, South Fremantle and he is labourer.

Returning from war, Tom and Veronica have a son in May 1951

 

Tom Watters died 22 November 1964 aged 57 years and cremated Karrakatta Cemetery.  Veronica Watters died 15 Apr 1975 at Helena Valley aged 55 years.
