General Description
Lloyd George Ashbolt was the only child born to George and Edith Ashbolt of Manchester Street, Victoria Park. His patriotic Grandmother suggested her grandson be named after Britain’s Prime Minister Lloyd George!
Prior to enlistment Ashbolt was a travelling salesman with Foggitt Jones Pty Ltd. His parents were most fortunate to receive a card from Burma from him advising he was in good health!
