General Description

This officer was killed in the ambush at South-West Bukit Timah when at close range he received a burst from a Japanese light automatic weapon. Lieutenant J. Till rushed at this light automatic section and killed the gun crew with his Thompson machine gun. Lieutenant Till was also wounded in the shoulder in his action.
