Drysdale was at the following Camps in Singapore – Changi to Selarang, Havelock Road November 1942, XI Party,
River Valley Road Camp 31 Jan 1943, P Party, Johore Bahru May 1943
He was selected at Singapore with ‘H’ Force Group No. 3, leaving Singapore by train 8 May 1943.  Their first work camp was Malay Hamlet.  Drysdale was evacuated to Konyu II hospital with beri beri on 17 June 1943; then to Kanchanaburi 8 September 1943.

During Dec 1943 Drysdale was sent by train back to Singapore arriving 1 January 1944.    He was sent to Changi from Sime Road on 5 May 1944.  At Adam Park June 1944, Havelock Road No. 4 Camp in November 1944.
He was then seconded into Singapore work parties – X1 and P.   Please read further.

Drysdale was recovered from Changi on 4 September 1945.
