General Description

Gordon Dorrizi  born Toodyay, was 1 of 3 brothers enlisted in 2/4th MG Battalion.

Gordon was selected to leave Singapore with ‘B’ Force Borneo as was Bert Dorizzi.  Tom went to Borneo with ‘E’ Force.

Gordon was the middle brother and died on same day at older brother Herbert (Bert) Dorizzi  on 11/2/1945.  However Bert died on the First Sandakan to Ranau Death March at Sagidal, about 60 miles before reaching Ranau and Gordon died at Sandakan No. 1 Camp.
