Around the city of Seoul there are several statues in
recognition of Korea’s Comfort Women
who were forcibly removed from their families & homes often as very young girls and forced into sexual slavery throughout WW2 moving to countries throughout S.E. Asia. Shame on Japan – who has never apologised nor compensated these brave women of whom there are now so few living. They were subjected to violence, sexual diseases and unwanted pregnancies. Their lives worthless.
