Wounded in action at Hill 200, Ulu Pandan on 12.2.1942, receiving a gunshot wound to the arm.

 

Kevin Moir was selected in Singapore to work on the Burma-Thai Railway with ‘D’ Force S Battalion which left Singapore by train 14 March 1943.  He was detached to O and P Battations.  Their first working camp Konyu II – working on the Hellfire Pass Cutting. Kevin was sent to Hintok River Camp from Kanyu II.

He died of Cholera 7 Aug 1943 at Hintock. He was 24 years old.
