General Description

Burslem gave his NOK as Mrs L. Lawson, Denver City Hotel, Coolgardie.

He was a member of the Buffaloes, Changi Lodge, Singapore.

George also has his name included on the Westonia enlistments.

Little is known of George’s life after the war.  Prior to enlisting he was unfortunately found to have been charged several times for petty theft, vagrancy, etc.
We have been unable to locate any family and his enlistment provides little clue as to who George Burslem was!
In 1946 George gave his contact address at 102 Kerr Street, Fitzroy, Victoria.
