WX9336 JACK GORRINGE
Sent with ‘F’ Force Thailand 1943 to work Burma-Thai Railway
Gorringe for nearly two years, was most senior 2/4th NCO at Changi – placed in change of cookhouse.
Survived to return to Singapore. Younger brother WX9335 Sydney Gorringe worked on Burma-Thai Railway with ‘D’ Force Thailand, S Battalion. Syd’s left leg was amputated below the knee due to a tropical ulcer on 30 Sep1943.
Jack & Syd Gorringe returned to Australia.

DOW Alexandra Hospital, Singapore 14 Feb 1942 42 Years
Werrett had been listed as missing in action from 11 Feb 1942.
It is a possibility he was at Ulu Pandan.

KALGOORLIE BORN BROTHERS JACK & RON GREGORY
Enlisted AIF 1940, Jack joined ‘B’ Coy, and Ron ‘A’ Coy
They joined ‘F’ Force Thailand entrained in 1943
Jack died June 1943 Cholera, Shimo SonkuraI & Ron survived to returned to Singapore at end of 1943.

‘A’ Coy, worked Burma-Thai Railway with ‘F;’ Force, Survived to return Singapore. Worked X8 Party Spring 1945 Adam Park Vicinity- building tunnels, funk holes.
