General Description

Williams enlisted AIF Oct 1940 later joined 2/4th’s Headquarters Company No. 3 Platoon as a Driver.
During 1943 he was entrained from Singapore to Thailand to work on Burma-Thai Railway with ‘F’ Force.  Please read further about F Force.and retuned to Singapore about Christmas 1943.
During 1945 Williams was seconded to work with X8 Party in Singapore.

George passed away aged 89yrs, July 29 2005, at Mt Pleasant, WA.
