General Description

Lt. Harry Green was killed in the ambush at South-West Bukit Timah on 11 February 1942 when at close range he received a burst from a Japanese light automatic weapon. Lieutenant J. Till rushed at this light automatic section and killed the gun crew with his Thompson machine gun. Lieutenant Till was also wounded in the shoulder in his action.
