Above:  Rowse was sent with a work force led by Weary Dunlop to work on Burma-Thai Railway.  His name is recorded as a death at Tarsau POW Hospital Camp of dysentery on 15 Nov 1943.
At the end of the war his body would have been taken to Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, Thailand.
