General Description
Born SA Warne originally joined AIF in WA – 2/2nd Reinforcements – transf to 2/3rd.
Captured Java and taken POW of Japan March 1942 and reported Missing in Action 27 April 1942. Reported confirmed POW Java July 1943.
Warne was recovered from Ohama POW Camp, Japan at the end of the war. Please read further
Warne died 21 June 1991 South Australia.
