Review WX4120 John Mercer Ladyman‘s military records held at NAA.

 

Ladyman sailed from Java to Singapore with Java Force No. 6 and then entrained to Thailand to work on the Burma-Thai Railway.   Please read further about the movements of this work force.

 

 

John Ladyman was a patient of Weary Dunlop’s at Hintok Mountain Camp when he died on 28 July 1943 of Cholera.  Dunlop recorded his death in his diary.
