Bill’s parents John ‘Foster’ Johnston m. 13 Jan 1886 at Bunbury to Catherine Elizabeth Hayward. Johnston’s first wife Frances Eleanor Clifton died 1881. Both marriages produced three sons.
John Foster Johnston died 1935 and Catherine died in 1942.
On his return to WA Bill Johnston married Zoe Ruth Forrest, residing in Busselton.
Johnston died 1 Oct 1976 and was buried at Busselton Cemetery.
