General Description
Review WX7774 Stanley ‘Ray’ Jenkins’ military records held at NAA.
Jenkins was one of a part of 2/3rd MGB who was taken to Java where he became POW about 8 March 1942.
Most of the Australian POWs were either sent to work on the Burma-Thai Railway via Singapore or to work in Japan. Jenkins was sent to work on the dreaded Railway where he became ill and died.
