General Description
Allen Brooker enlisted AIF 30 Oct 1940 and later joined ‘A’ Company No. 6 Platoon under Commanding Officers Lt Morrison and Lt. Branson.
Brooker was KIA Buona Vista during an enemy artillery barrage on 15 Feb 1942. He was 24 years of age.

Allen’s parents married in Ontario, Canada in 1907. They moved to India where their first two children were born, Florence in 1909 and Henry in 1910.
The Brooker family returned to England where their third child John ‘Allen’ was born Medstead England in 1917.
It is not known when the family moved to Western Australia – taking up land at Newdegate.
