Suspected Japanese War Criminals suffering mental health and physical exhaustion

The following is of interest

July 1947 – suspected Japanese war criminals from the Burma-Thai Railway awaiting War Trials have been advised their wait will be further 6 months. They are protesting against their non-repatriation. They have been engaged in labour work since May 1946 ………………and their mental health and physical exhaustion was beyond anybody’s imagination!

Only 14 months……….perhaps they should imagine three and half years of slavery, starvation with beatings and no medicine as the POWs did.

They really were blinded by the Rising Sun.
