General Description
Jack Rabone enlisted AIF Aug 1940, later joined 2/4th MGB HQ No. 3 Platoon.
From Singapore he was sent to Burma end Burma-Thai Railway with ‘A’ Force Burma Green No. 3 Battalion.

John was recovered from Thailand at end of war.
Jack left England, Government Instructional Centre, Brandon for Fremantle July 1927 on ‘Moreton Bay.’ He was 22 years old and gave his occupation as labourer.
John married in 1932 at Midland Junction to Allison Ballagh, they had a family of seven children.
Below: Allison’s sister Maude died 1947. In 1949, 1958, 1972 they were residing Helena Valley and Jack working as a gardener. In 1980 they moved to Boya.
Jack’s father Clement died 1929 Birmingham. His mother Lydia died about 1947.
In 1937 Allison and jack were residing Cottesloe, he was labourer.
Jack died 19 Nov 1981Helena Valley. He was cremated Karrakatta Cemetery. Allison died Helena Valley in 1986.
