George Lee was born 1907 Woodford Bridge, Bromley, Essex, England to parents William Henry Lee and Elizabeth Overton. We believe ‘John’ as he preferred to be known, sailed from London on ‘Bendigo’ and arrived 20 December 1926. He was 19 years of age. (This cannot be confirmed 100%)
We are not able to confirm, he may have been officially named George Thomas Lee. Lee may also have sailed to NSW and spent some years there before moving to WA. Again we cannot confirm.
