General Description
Review WX4142 Stanley Holland‘s military records held at NAA.
Stanley, known as ‘Sharky’ was recovered from Batavia at the end of the war. His older brother Mort died of cholera at Hintock POW Camp, Burma-Thai Railway, Thailand.
Lt Terry Needs, mentioned Holland in his newspaper interview on his arrival back in Perth.
Other names included Capt George Gardiner, Lt Eric Watts, Pte Bill Marshall and Pte StanHolland.
The family was from Wagin.
